A visit to our Region is a must for everybody - whether
they be old or young, ‘cool’ or old –fashioned,
fishermen, ‘boaties’, gentle swimmers and paddlers, surfers
& kitesurfers, snorkellors, divers, windsurfers, bushwalkers,
nature lovers or sight-seers. The Turquoise Coast is diversity.
Turquoise Coast and The Pinnacles is within easy reach of
Perth,
the Shire of Gingin is only one hour away, the Shire of Dandaragan
only 2 hours and the Shire of Coorow a little over three hours from
Perth. The visitor could easily spend four to five days in the Turquoise
Coast visiting the many attractions.
This wonderful region offers the visitor almost everything
- ranging from the world famous Pinnacles, fabulous farming scenery
of rolling hills, Marri, Black Butt, Banksia and Tuart Trees, National
Parks (native flora and fauna, extensive inland and ocean views),
bush walks, unique Australian wildflowers, historical buildings,
to aquatic playgrounds for pastimes such as swimming and snorkelling,
fantastic all year-round fishing, skin diving, windsurfing and exciting
Sea Lion, Wildflower, Pinnacle and Sand Dune Tours.
It has something for everyone, people of all ages and
the good news is that there is an excellent network of roads for both
conventional and 4- wheel drive vehicles. |
